Mason & Hamlin warmly welcomes internationally-renowned pianist and professor at the Eastman School of Music, Marina Lomazov, to present a Piano Workshop, Masterclass and Recital in our intimate factory performance space.

Piano Workshop, Masterclass and Recital in our intimate factory performance space with Eastman School of Music Professor Marina Lomazov.
The day’s event will include a Masterclass Workshop featuring student performers, a short concert by Professor Lomazov, afternoon tea provided, and an opportunity to tour the inner workings of our piano factory. See below for full itinerary.
The workshop will focus on the methodology of the Russian School of Piano and its application at every skill level, and is open to students of all ages, from beginners to advanced pianists.

Teachers and Students:
Student performers wishing to perform in the masterclass must email Education Coordinator Oscar Jiang a letter of recommendation from their teacher, and one or two pieces to play.
Teachers: This workshop event qualifies for a MTNA Certification Renewal ½ point, under Standard V, Category D “Continuing Education.”

Student Performers – $90 (limited places)
Teachers – Free Entry with participating student(s), or $20
Attendees – $20 (includes concert, tour and workshop attendance)
On request, we will produce printed certificates for student performers, teachers and attendees for your records.
